Coming soon – ‘P.S. I pretty little love you!’

A true story about how a beautiful actress fell in love – with a whole country!

Starring -Shay Mitchell - star of ABC family's hit show 'Pretty Little Liars' , and her ‘right hand gal’ Jody Rebak.

Co-starring - Ireland – one of the top ten developed countries in the world for adventure travel potential

Guest appearance by - Vagabond tours – a rather good adventure tour company…

The story starts with Discover Ireland and the Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA) who had the clever (some might say very clever) idea of sending actress Shay Mitchell and her friend Jody Rebak on a Vagabond tour to experience what a fantastic adventure travel destination Ireland is.

Over six days we sampled some of the very best activities that Ireland has to offer - We cycled along the Atlantic coast of Clew Bay, jumped into the peat bog, kayaked with seals on Ireland's only fjord, visited the Aran islands, surfed in Dingle, rode horses on a deserted beach, cuddled baby lambs (not strictly speaking an adventure pursuit!) and lots, lots more.

Along the way we had some superb food made with the freshest Irish produce; We stayed in top class, locally-owned accommodation, enjoyed some excellent traditional Irish music in cosy, welcoming pubs and everywhere we went we received the warm welcome that Ireland is justifiably famous for. The girls even learned some irish dance moves, and Jody taught the locals a few of her own!

This has been a great opportunity for Vagabond to showcase why Ireland was recently listed by the ATTA as one of the top 10 developed countries in the World in terms of adventure travel potential.

The girls had a fantastic time and completely fell in love with Ireland. And in-between all their activities they diligently documented their daily adventures on Shay's blog, which is an excellent account of a trip to Ireland, by any standards. It can be found at the links below

Day one – We have arrived!

The adventure begins as we land in Ireland and head for the west coast. Today is a mix of cycling, mussels and seaweed! http://shaymitchell.com/2012/03/21/ireland-day-1/

Day two – Canoes and mud

What a day…canoeing on the Atlantic ocean with seals before getting down and dirty in the ‘bog’ http://shaymitchell.com/2012/03/22/ireland-day-2/

Day three – Castaways on ‘treasure Ireland’

See what happens when you strand Shay Mitchell on an island. Plus Galway city and the Burren moonscape. http://shaymitchell.com/2012/03/24/ireland-day-3/
